Discoveries of the last 4 days

Good morning everyone! Today I want to share with you my discoveries, achievements, and learning experience of the last 4 days of studying English.
We all were looking forward to studying the topic with food and cooking. Finally, we got the opportunity to learn different words connected with fruit, vegetables, meat, and cooking terms. It turned out I didn`t know a lot of words, and I would probably have trouble in America if I didn`t learn this vocabulary. Americans have a lot of terms that seem very close to each other (to stir-fry, to fry, to broil). Besides, I`ve cooked wonderful French toasts for my family for breakfast. It was pretty interesting to explain your cooking process in English.

Another important thing is that I`ve watched a famous movie “Devil Wears Prada” that tells us about American fashion. I`ve discovered some things for myself about the fashion industry and the people who work there.

Also, I`ve learned many idioms about character and even found out my personality type. I`ve read some of my classmates` posts about their personality types, and it turns out that in most cases it works.
